Impactful innovation

CLOSER is a one-of-a-kind European I3 project that bridges the Critical Raw Materials Act and the Chips Act, with an end-technology readiness level of 7 to 9 (TRL 7-9) out of 9. The project being a cross-regional, joint investment, in a portfolio of 14 pilot investments. Each of these pilots has an individual business model and each of these investments contributes to the holistic scale-up of the EU supply chain for circular chips. This benefits both EU-level and the local level in the participation regions.

Cleanforest aims to establish an inclusive and multidisciplinary pan-European network which capitalises on existing expertise and infrastructures, to coordinate research efforts, compare approaches and define common protocols towards a holistic perspective of the atmosphere-biosphere interactions along the continuum natural-periruban-urban (NPU) forests in Europe.

3DForEcoTech project aims to establish a strong network of scientists and stakeholders and sensor manufacturers to synchronize the knowledge, to develop general protocols and to develop algorithms for forest ecosystem monitoring, while at the same time making these novel technologies available to a broad audience.

We have created the first fully automated indoor cultivation facility of microgreens in Northern Greece. This state-of-the-art production system utilizes specialized LED lighting to ensure high photosynthetic efficiency and to enable optimal plant growth in a controlled environment. By regulating environmental parameters the facility ensures year-round high yield cultivation with consistent quality and minimal resource waste.
